Century Schoolbook Type Specimen

PROBLEM: Design a type specimen book showcasing the formal qualities of Century Schoolbook. The goal for the booklet is to show all available styles in the type family, and to make the typeface look amazing, by using it in different variations and to utilize design principals throughout: hierarchy, scale, space, rhythm, harmony, and contrast.

SOLUTION: Designed a multiply page booklet that demonstrates Century Schoolbook in the way for why it became popular. Since Century's main strength is it's exceptional legibility, it was used throughout textbooks, periodicals, or any type literature because the stroke contrast was quite low, creating a less sharp and highly readable structure. This booklet takes the reader back to school to learn.
